November 18th & 19th, 2022
This class is primarily for those who already own Pro-Stitcher and want to expand their understanding of the program and what all it can do!
The time is divided into 3 sections:
- Review and overview
- In this class we will be going over the basics and making sure that we all know the proper path to doing things like resizing, repositioning, edge-2-edge, and such. This may seem unnecessary, but I continue to find that it is often these things that we have done dozens of times, that can sometimes trip us up.
- Advanced Pro-Stitcher Project.
- In this period, we will be making a project in which we can put some of the new things we learn into practice right away. We know how it is to be shown some cool things, but then forget how to apply them to a project. Well, in this class, we make it very practical, and it’s a fun project that you will get to take home! (pictures coming soon!!)
- Pro-Stitcher Designer
- This is a sit-down class where you will get to learn how to do both basic, and also intricate tasks with the Designer software! If you want to bring along a laptop with your software installed on it so that you can follow along, you are welcome to do so, but it is not required.
This class will start at 9:00 AM and end around 4:30 PM with about a 90 minute break for lunch. This is not just a lecture demo, it also has a significant amount of hands-on time where you will be at the machines! There will be 6 machines here that you can practice on and that is where the magic comes alive!
So sign up today and make sure you have your spot reserved as we expect this class to fill up quickly!
Growing up, Leslie was always creating. This love of creating lead her to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Education with a specialty in textiles. After ten years of inspiring school age students to the fun of creating with fabric, Leslie starter her own quilt shop where she could inspire even more quilters in their creative journeys.
As a quilt shop owner, Leslie acquired extensive experience and knowledge in teaching all aspects of piecing and longarm quilting in her shop and a local quilting guilds. Being one of the first Handi Quilter retailers, Leslie brings a comprehensive knowledge of all the machines to the Handi Quilter family, and loves to quilt on each of them!
(Personally, as I worked with Leslie at this years Retailer Academy, I can attest to the fact that she knows her stuff well, and I am excited to bring her to Bemidji to help teach here! -Jay)
