Now is a great opportunity to create something you can put to good use in your sewing area.

Hoop Sizes: 4X4 or larger

  • Techniques: Raw edge applique, completed in the hoop

You can make this Taco on ANY embroidery machine!  So whatever kind you have, you can make this as long as you have a 4X4″ hoop or larger!  Or if you don’t have your own machine, you can rent one of ours and STILL make this cute crossbody bag.  Just remember, if you have never done embroidery and would like to try it, your first rental is FREE!

If you only want the design, you can bring a USB to the class, and watch the demonstration.  By the time the demonstration is over on how to make the project, your USB stick will be loaded with the designs and you can pick it up on the way out for $5.00!  However, if you would like to bring your embroidery machine along, you are free to set it up after the class and have fun sewing for the rest of the day!  Remember, the next day is Open Sew and you can leave your machine here overnight and come back for another whole day of sewing/embroidery fun (don’t worry, we’ll tuck your machine in nice and warm for the night!)!

If you would like us to provide the kit for you, we will provide everything you need but the thread to complete one project.

What to bring to make project in store:

Embroidery machine and module

4″X4″ Hoop or larger

Embroidery foot

Threads suggested: tan, brown, lettuce green, cheese yellow and tomato red

Notions:  Embroidery scissors for trimming, straight pins

Tape: Removable Positioning Tape (Also sold in store.)
